The Da Vinci Code
Tuesday, May 23rd, 2006Dwight has little interest in reading this book, doubly so when he knew it was going to be consumable as a movie. All of the negative reviews left Dwight’s expectations low. The movie excelled in beating his expectations. The beginning and middle of the movie were well done in Dwight’s opinion. The weakest link for Dwight was the ending. Perhaps cause he already knew the ‘secret’ mostly though it just fell flat. Tom Hanks wasn’t too bad. The real stars were Paul Bettany and Ian McKellan. Audrey will still have a special place in my heart despite the weak performance given here.
Theater worthy: no
DVD worthy: rental if you haven’t seen it
